memorial day has always signified the start to summer, although it didn't feel too much like summer we still celebrated. we spent most of the day outside playing.

Little Dancers

stella and claire had a dance competition a few weeks ago. the entire time we were there we kept thinking what are we in for, for the rest of out lives. tyler said " who can I call and thank for starting these dang things." i'm telling you that is a different world, one I am not sure we want to be a part of. anyhow the girls looked cute and the dance was great,one thing about it they kept us laughing the entire performance.

Where did you get that Crazy Hair?

one thing i love about annie is her crazy hair, i don't even try anymore. the only way that hair is going is up. we'll see how long it gets before it actually lays down.

our girls have always been little thrill seekers. i wonder why? could it have any thing to do with their dad?

Moments

every now and then i get a glimpse of my girls, i wish that i could just freeze and hold forever. like the times i am rocking my baby in a chair and she looks up at me as if i am the only important person in the world , or when my 2 1/2 year old puts her hands on both of my cheeks and brings me in for a kiss. or when my 4 year old snuggles with me on the couch. i heard one of my neighbors say, "the best moments in life are just moments." i have to agree with her.

i love looking at others blogs and i think what a good way of journaling and writing down all the fun things we do and the funny things our kids say. so i decided to break down and give it a whirl. we'll see how it goes.
