what goes around comes around

i remember my mom putting curlers in my hair, when i was a little girl, before i went to bed and expecting me to sleep. well its funny how things flipflop. i am doing the exact same cruel thing to my kids. i had claires hair in curlers for about 10 minute before she was crying and riping them out. I guess what goes around comes around.

homecoming!

grandma and grandpa frampton (tylers grandparents) came home from their two year mission in samara russia last night. this was their fourth mission in the last 10 years. new jersery, africa, china and russia. so you can say we are glad to have them back. they both looked great and were excited to see us all at the airport.
welcome home grandma and grandpa were glad you have you home safe and sound!

p.s.

i was able to get hold of the car rental and they did have my camera. hallelujah! i am just waiting for it in the mail.

dinner in the mountains

tonight we went up big cottonwood canyon to silver lake and had dinner. we couldnt believe how many squirrels there were, to the point that it was almost gross. they would come right up to your feet and wait for your food to drop. the girls thought that is was great and had a hard time focusing on eating. after we ate we walked around the lake. we saw some ducks, fish and a beaver dam. it was a fun little week night get away. and i am sure we will be returning soon.

san diego

last night we arrived home from our awesome week in san deigo. we went with the carlson family and we had such a fun time. we stayed in condos right on mission beach which was heaven for the kids. they were on the beach from morning to night, and loved every minute. being right on the beach forced us to eat, breath and sleep the sand, our skin is very nice and smooth from exfoliating ourselves each night in the sheets.

some of our activities included: uss midway which is a retired aircraft ship that we toured. it really makes you grateful for all of those who had and still defend our country. we also spent a day at seaworld. the girls loved shamu and thought touching dolphins was great, which it was. we all agreed that the dolphin show was the best. and the rest of the time we were bummed it on the beach. it was such a great and relaxing week.

so i am sure you are wondering by now where are the pictures. well i am so sick in my stomach and i hate talking about it, but i left my camera in the rental car. all 225 pictures. i am so bummed. i havent been able to talk to anyone in lost and found at the rental yet, and i wont be able to until monday, so i am hoping and praying that nobody stole it. anyway if i every get it back i will post some pictures.

so other than the tragic ending, it was a fun week. thanks barn and coz!
