a+ in parenting

well today i actually did something i thought i would never do. i locked little annie in the car with both sets of keys and my cell phone. luckily annie is pretty laid back and had no problem waiting to get the door unlocked, actually she was in there smiling and waving at me. and thank goodness i was with my friend and able to use her cell phone to call for help. i ended up calling 911 to come unlock the car. it was pretty exciting they had to send out a police man as well as a firetruck/paramedic because there was a child involved. all in all annie was only in there for about 10 mins and was fine the entire time. but after the matter it dawned on me that i have onstar and could have made things a lot less complicated. oh well. stella and claire thought it was pretty neat to see a fire truck come to the rescue.
then on top of that i made potato soup for dinner and burned the entire thing. just my luck. so instead we had spaghettio's for dinner. hang on for a minute while i puke.
I guess we all have those days.
but after the girls went to bed i canned some tomatoes. so that counts for something right?

a sigh of relief

today was our primary program. and can i just say i am so glad that it is over. i didnt think it was such a stressful thing to me until it was over and i was completely exhausted. my first counsler just had a baby the first of september so she was out of comission and my second counsler was replaced just a few ago so needless to say although i had others around to help it was sort of crazy timing. anyway yeah! the kids sang wonderfully and everything went off with out a hitch. Oh yeah except for the little boy that threw up all over in the middle of the whole thing. oh well it just wouldnt be a primary program if something like that didnt happen.

yesterday sept 22 greg (my brother) and lindsey got married. i am so excited for both of them. they are such a cute couple. i am so thrilled that lindsey is in our family and that greg found such a perfect girl. it was such a nice day the weather was perfect in the morning, and then later their reception was beautiful. congrats greg and lindsey. we love you!

little graham cracker

baby graham was born one week ago. and is such a cute little (not so little) baby. he weighed in at 9lbs 6 oz. - wow way to go tara. stella and claire cant wait until the next time we get to hold him. congratulations tara and oj!

happy happy birthday clairey sue

claire turned 3 years old on september first. i cant believe how old she is. she is so much fun to have in our family. claire has a very tender heart and always says the most sincere things. i love listening to her laugh and listening to all of the funny things that see says. claires smile is very contagious and can always make you feel better.

we turned the weekend into a birthday weekend. grandma and grandpa black took claire to build a bear on saturday and claire had the best time making, bathing and dressing her new little bear isabella. then she spent the night at grandma and grandpa blacks.

then when claire woke up this morning she found her room decorated, it started the day off just right for her

we celebrated monday night with all of our family. i have to say i love our back yard for that one reason. its great for parties. we had a very fun evening grandma cozy made the cutest cake. claire was so excited about it, she said it was her favorite part about her birthday. but why wouldn't you love it, it was stocked full with a million different kinds of candy. thanks grandma cozy.

claire was once again spoiled rotten,with all of her gifts and then we sent birthday wishes to claire. want a fun party. thanks everyone. and thanks claire for being such a sweetheart. i love you so much!
