Going Private

And they are off...

My parents left for the MTC this morning. Then on Monday the are off to the Las Vegas West Nevada Mission. My Dad is serving as the mission president there for three years. Although it is only a 6 hour drive, it is still hard to see them leave. They will be awesome and I am exctied for the many experinces they have ahead of them. I feel so fortunate to have such amazing parents. They have been and continue to be such a huge part of my life. My mom made all the grandkids a countdown calander, the first of each month they will be able to open a small box and find a prize from grandma and grandpa. It is a little daunting looking at the calander and seeing 36 little boxes and thinking they can only open one each month. But I am sure 3 years will pass in no time.
