this past weekend was the Snow Canyon half marathon that
tyler and i have been training for. about three weeks ago while running a long run my knee gave out on me and i
hadnt ran
since. so i was very nervous to see what would happen on race day. i made it about a mile and a half and my knee started bothering me. i was just hoping to make it to the 3 mile water stop. well i suffered through it and when i got to three miles i kept going. i made it through the next 10 miles. i was glad to see the finish line. i felt really good the whole time, all but my knee. that dang thing hurt every time i stepped on it. hopefully i will be able to walk normal again, although
i'm not sure if i will judging by how sore my body is. it was a lot of fun and i would like to do it again. my brother
greg and his wife
lindsey ran it with us. it is so fun to be in good company.
tyler is also such a good coach. i love having something that we both enjoy doing. although we cant really do it together because i take 10 steps in his every one. but i still love his motivation. anyway it was a good race and a big accomplishment for me.

we also had our good friends the cleggs come down to st. george with us. we have been friends since before we were married. we have lots of fun memories with them but the best are the funny stories from our trip to brazil. they have such a cute family and we love being with them. thanks guys. and also for coming to cheer us on at the race.

What a trooper Jen! So sad about your knee. I can't believe you did the whole thing! Congrats to you and Tyler. You guys are awesome!
I'm so proud of you all! That sounds like fun, except for pain in every footstep... way to keep going Jen!
You are amazing! I'm not sure I could ever run through pain like that. Congrats on finishing. You rock!
