Annie takes the Gold

This winter we purchased ski passes up to Solitude so we have been up there quite a few times with the girls. They have really enjoyed sking and have had a great time plowing down the mountian. Even little Annie has done really well. Last week while we were up there, they had kid races. We registered the girls up to race. They each got a number, started at the gate, their names were announced and then they raced down the hill. Everyone did really well.

Annie was the only 3 year old that raced in her division therefore she won the Gold.
It was so cute how excited she was. When Annies name was called, Tyler took her up go get her medal and I stayed down in the crowd to take pictures. It was so fun to hear everyone cheering for her and all the comments about how she was so little and cute.

It was a fun day the kids were pround of themselves. They each recieved a goody bag, a small medal, creamies and a coupon for a hot dog.
It doesn't get much better than that!

So cute! This is why we need to move back to Utah. Snow in Iowa is not nearly as fun.

Hilarious. I love the pictures of Annie sticking her tongue out at the camera and then eating her ice cream in the snow. Too cute. These will be priceless one day when she takes gold in the Olympics.

I guess Annie decided not to hide her helmet anymore? :) I love all the pictures! Annie and Claire look like they are about the same height!
